All Fall Down

After a week of unseasonably mild weather, old man winter is beginning to creep in. Temperatures dropped into the 30’s yesterday evening with a misty rain and some snow flurries. Most of the leaves are on the ground now, except for my sweetgum tree which always makes me wait before I can do a final leaf clean-up of my yard. Trees that were bright with color just a week or so ago are now bare. There’s some color on the ground now if you look for it (click on photo to enlarge), but soon the browns and grays of winter will be all the color we see until next Spring.
