Hot Dog King

I love hot dogs. I love burgers too, but sometimes my cravings won’t be satisfied by anything but the a good ol’ American hot dog. If I happen to be in Candler, NC, I’ll satisfy my craving at the Hot Dog King. Unfortunately, I made this photograph on a Sunday afternoon when the Hot Dog King was closed, so I had to forgo the opportunity to indulge. That’s also why the parking lot is empty. Any time the Hot Dog King is open, the parking lot is crowded with fellow hot dog lovers. There’s much debate among hot dog fans on the proper way to accesorize your dog, but I like mine with yellow mustard, chili, and diced onions. (Click on photo to enlarge.)
